Nobody Prepared You for This Part of Fatherhood

A practical, straight talking toolkit to help you navigate fatherhood with confidence, calm and clarity.

Becoming a dad is one of life’s biggest transitions. It’s exciting, terrifying and often confusing. The Ultimate New Dad Tool Kit strips away the overwhelm and gives you clear, honest guidance so you know exactly what to do, when to do it and how to take care of yourself and your family.

It’s the resource we wish antenatal classes had given us. Imagine going into fatherhood feeling ready instead of guessing, supported instead of isolated and present when they need you to be. That’s what this tool kit delivers.

We both know you can prepare the nursery, buy the pram and install the car seat. But nobody really prepares you for what happens when you become a dad. The pressure, exhaustion, responsibility, overwhelm and the feeling that you're supposed to know what you're doing when, deep down, you're just trying to keep it together.

That's exactly why I created The Ultimate New Dad Tool Kit, a practical collection of guides, tools and real-world support designed to help you navigate this massive change and become the father they need you to be.

Let's Be Honest...

You care deeply about being a great dad. You want to be there and you want to give them what they need. But maybe you're also wondering:

  • Am I doing enough and am I doing it right?
  • Why do I feel overwhelmed?
  • Is it normal to feel this lost?
  • How do I support my her without burning out?
  • Why didn't anyone tell me that it would feel like this?

Let's be clear...  You're not broken.

These are valid and completely normal feelings. You're feeling this way because you're becoming a father. This is the most important role you will play and it also one of the biggest transitions we as men will ever go through.

This is where your whole world shifts, the pressure increases and at times it can feel like we're barely holding on and that's why The Ultimate New Dad Tool Kit exists.

I needed it and you might too.

Why I Built This

Today we want to be more present, more involved and more emotionally connected than ever before.

We want to support our partner and build strong relationships with our children. We want to balance work and family life and we need to stay healthy, calm and resilient under pressure. But most of us are still left to work it out alone.

We may be shown how to change a nappy, prepare a bottle or install a car seat, but we are rarely prepared for the pressure, identity shift, relationship strain, exhaustion and emotional weight that comes with fatherhood.

When I became a dad, I thought I was prepared but I wasn't. I got the practical stuff right but I wasn't ready for the mental load, the pressure, the loss of routine, the strain on my relationship or the feeling that I needed to have everything figured out.

I created The Ultimate New Dad Tool Kit because I didn't want other dads to walk into this chapter feeling as unprepared as I did. Fatherhood isn't impossible but when it's challenging the support shouldn't start when you're already struggling.

What Makes This Different?

Let's be honest, most parenting resources focus on mums.

This one focuses on you and it's designed to help you become confident, connected and resilient.

This wasn't built from the outside looking in, it was built from lived experience and by a dad who understands what it's like to feel overwhelmed, disconnected and unsure of where to turn.

This isn't about being the perfect dad. It's about feeling more prepared for the journey ahead.

More importantly, it's about giving your family what they need because our children don't need perfect dads. They need present ones.

Imagine This...

Instead of second-guessing everything... You feel more confident, prepared, present, you understand what you're experiencing, you know how to support your partner and you have the practical tools to help you navigate the challenges ahead.

That's the purpose of this Tool Kit.
