This workshop focuses on what to look out for when navigating Men's Mental Health conversations. Using data, real life experiences and research this session is designed to help you the employer identify those fathers who might be struggling.

Career mum: A partner's role in supporting mum in her return to work.

This workshop is designed to help both mum and dad navigate the last days of maternity leave. This is an important webinar [F2F if requested] that highlights the challenges facing the modern mum, the conflict she faces and the obstacles she will face if she is afforded the opportunity to return to the workforce.

Told from the perspective of the partner, this interactive session brings to life the obstacles facing the modern mum and what she might face when she goes back to work. As the husband to a working, career mum here I focus on mum's return to the work after having a baby and how the partner plays a key role in that first year.

We discuss how employers can better support mums (Pre and Post Maternity) and how the cost of childcare is stopping many mums returning to work. We discuss the lack of choice available to the working mum, the prejudice they face and how her partner can support her as she returns to work. We highlight what to look out for and what conversations are necessary once mum is back to work. Finally we talk about the future obstacles mum might need to navigate to ensure she's not overlooked.

This can be a facilitated panel discussion or webinar. It's very much about challenging the stigma many mums face on their return from maternity. The aim is simple, getting parents talking and supporting one another by creating a more inclusive workplace culture for all.
